The large diameter V groove wheel of the wire tension meter is suitable for carbon/optical fibers.

In order to reduce excessive bending of hard and brittle wires when testing tension, the handheld pointer wire tension meter uses a larger span and V-shaped groove wire pulley. In addition to the aluminum V-shaped groove pulley, there are also V-shaped groove pulleys made of engineering plastic to avoid Scratch the various fibers traveling.

Calibration to customized material:
If process material differs significantly from the SCHMIDT calibration material in diameter, rigidity or shape, special calibration using customer supplied samples is recommended. For this purpose a material sample of about 5 m should be supplied.
